Hey everyone. I know this is late... AGAIN, but I'll briefly give my thoughts from last weeks games and later today, I'll give you my week 3 predictions.  But now, let's hit the rewind button on Week 2:

Panthers 20 @  Falcons 28 (Matt Ryan and Tony Gonzalez have found a great connection already.  Now comes their first big test when they go on the road at New England.  A side note: Jake Delhomme played better, but he needs to play better for Carolina to get out of their 0-2 start.)

Vikings 27 @ Lions 13 (Another slow start against a bad team by the Vikings.  While their offense and defense picked up the pace, they can't continue to do this, or they will lose a lot of games.  And they might be showing some cracks in their running wall.  That could be a problem.)

Bengals 31 @ Packers 24 (Chad Ochocinco made true to his promise of taking the Lambeau Leap if he scored a TD.  He got a TD and he made the jump.  And a Packer fan gave the finger on camera.  I'm calling this guy out: You are a loser.  Go drink beer somewhere else where you can't be stupid.  Idiot.  Thanks to Ochocinco's TD, the Bengals pulled off the upset win and may start to get their mojo going for the season.)

Cardinals 31 @ Jaguars 17 (The Cardinals were 0-5 on trips to the east coast last year during the regular season.  Well, they got a win this time and it was a crucial win.  Falling to 0-2 as the defending Super Bowl runner-ups would have been tough.  Oh by the way, I'm tweeting that Anquan Boldin needs to find the endzone and if he doesn't both he and I will be pissed.)

Raiders 13 @ Chiefs 10 (It wasn't pretty, but a late 4th quarter game-winning drive led by JaMarcus Russell got the Raiders their first win of the season.  They have the talent to win a lot more games this season, but Russell needs to start playing better.)

Patriots 9 @ Jets 16 (I said that I thought the Jets could win, but until they beat the Patriots at home, I would continue to take the Pats.  Well Jets and Jet fans, I'm sorry.  What an incredible performance by both the defense and Mark Sanchez.  This team will stick around the entire season.  New England now has some major questions to answer.)

Saints 48 @ Eagles 22 (Hey what have the Saints done the first two weeks of the season?  I haven't heard much about them.  They've scored 93 points, the second most points ever scored in the first two games in NFL history?  Drew Brees has 9 TDs?  Darren Sharper has 2 INTs for TDs?  Wow!  This team is good!! Watch out NFL!)

Texans 34 @ Titans 31 (How many of you are kicking yourselves because you didn't start Andre Johnson or Chris Johnson?  I hope you all did.  Incredible performances by both of them and  what a win for Houston.  Tennessee is 0-2.  Who would have thought that?)

Rams 7 @ Redskins 9 (What an awful game for both teams.  The Redskins don't have it offensively at all, and the Rams continue to shoot themselves in the foot, like Donnie Avery.  Both teams are going nowhere this year.)

Bucs 20 @ Bills 33 (An up-and-down day for T.O. in his home debut for the Bills.  He dropped a pass in which he was wide open, but redeemed himself later when he caught a TD.  No word yet if he blamed himself in his press conference.)

Seattle 10 @ 49ers 23 (What a day for Frank Gore.  16 carries for 207 yards and 2 TDs.  Only an ankle injury prevented him from perhaps breaking the single game rushing record (296 yards by Adrian Peterson against the Chargers.)  He goes against the Vikings this week and it will be a much more difficult task, but Mike Singletary has his team playing tough.)

Steelers 14 @ Bears 17 (Jeff Reed gets most of the blame on this one.  The usual reliable kicker missed not one, but two field goals.  And that is the perhaps the primary reason why the Steelers lost the game.  Big win for the Bears.  They had to win this game to avoid being two games down in the division.)

Browns 6 @ Broncos 27 (The Broncos are 2-0, which is better than most everyone expected.  But, they did win a luck game against the Bengals and they beat the Browns.  Until they beat a legit playoff team, I think this team is bologna.  Browns aren't even bologna.  Sorry to say it Browns fans, but the Browns are just garbage.)

Ravens 31 @ Chargers 26 (I admit when I am wrong, and I have been dead wrong about the Ravens offense.  They look very good and balanced.  But the defense remains a question to me, though Ray Lewis going right through the line to stop Darren Sproles on 4th and 2 brings back plenty of good memories to Ravens fans.)

Giants 33 @ Cowboys 31 (The 8th wonder of the world (that's what they're calling that new stadium down there in Big D) saw a huge letdown as Tony Romo had a poor performance and his counterpart Eli Manning led an impressive late 4th quarter drive to set up the game-winning field goal.  Is there panic in Big D?  No, not yet, they just hate their quarterback.)

Colts 27 @ Dolphins 23 (Never underestimate what Peyton Manning can do.  Having the ball for less than 15 minutes the ENTIRE game, Manning led the Colts to a GW TD late in the 4th quarter in less than a minute.  The man is remarkable.  What a great week for the Mannings.)

What a great week of football.  The picks weren't so great as I went 10-6.  My overall record though is 23-9 so that is OK.  We have some big games coming up this week including:

Atlanta @ New England

San Francisco @ Minnesota

Indianapolis @ Arizona

Should be another great week.  I'll be back later with my predictions.  Until next time, c ya.
