Week 3 of the NFL is upon us and there are a few interesting games this week.  So without any more delay, let's take a look at the week to be in the NFL, Week 3:

Cleveland @ Baltimore 1:00 ET CBS (For those of you who are Browns fans and were hoping that you would have more than one offensive touchdown through two weeks, you may as well make it three, because if you can't score a TD against the Broncos, I don't know how you are going to score against the Ravens defense, regardless if they have slipped or not.)

Prediction: Browns 6 Ravens 31

Washington @ Detroit 1:00 ET FOX (There has been some buzz this week that this may in fact be the week that the Lions snap their 19-game losing streak.  Too bad Lions fans in Detroit and the area markets won't be able to see it.  As much as I would love to pick the Lions, I can't pick them yet.

Prediction: Redskins 20 Lions 17

Jacksonville @ Houston 1:00 ET CBS (Housto's offense finally got going last week against the Titans and I see no reason why Andre Johnson and company won't have another big week.)

Prediction: Jaguars 17 Texans 27

Atlanta @ New England 1:00 ET FOX (This is a very difficult game to pick, simply because Atlanta has played really well the first two weeks of the season, but they have both been at the Georgia Dome.  Tom Brady still does not seem to be fully healthy or confident, but with a lot of people doubting him, I think that he will pull through and win a big game for the Patriots this week who are looking to avoid their first losing streak since 2006.)

Prediction: Falcons 24 Patriots 27

Green Bay @ St. Louis 1:00 ET FOX (The Rams have scored 7 points in two games this year.  Ouch!  The Packers defense is looking to rebound against the offensively challenged Rams and they should have no problem, though Cedric Benson was able to run against them pretty easily last week which may bode well for Steven Jackson.  It won't be enough though.)

Prediction: Packers 24 Rams 13

New York Giants @ Tampa Bay 1:00 ET FOX (The Giants looked pretty good against the Cowboys in the new Cowboy Stadium last week.  Their offense looked sharp for the most part and they are playing the Bucs whose defense has still not come to play this season.  Look for the Giants to run and throw the ball at will against the Bucs.)

Prediction: Giants 30 Bucs 17

Tennessee @ New York Jets 1:00 ET CBS (This is a potential let down game for the Jets after such a big showing last week against the Patriots.  Plus the Titans are 0-2 and need a win to keep pace with the Colts and Texans.  But, Rex Ryan has the Jets going in a positive direction and I think he will continue to do that this week.)

Prediction: Jets 23 Titans 20

Kansas City @ Philadelphia 1:00 ET CBS (There is quite a quarterback quandry going on in Philadelphia.  Will Donovan McNabb start?  Who will be his backup?  Will Kolb be effective if he starts?  How will Michael Vick do?  Will the Eagles dress four qbs?  The only question that hasn't been asked this week is how many points will the Eagles beat the Chiefs by?

Prediction: Chiefs 17 Eagles 34

San Francisco @ Minnesota 1:00 ET FOX (Both teams are 2-0 and have both have solid running backs, Frank Gore and Adrian Peterson.  Both defenses have played strong so far this year and it will be very interesting to see how each defense holds up against the other team's star running back.  Oh and did I mention that this is Brett Favre's first home game as a Viking in the regular season?  Yes, this game is big.

Prediction: 49ers 13 Vikings 27

New Orleans @ Buffalo 4:05 ET FOX (There will be no shortage of points in this game as both teams' offenses look good so  far this year, especially the Saints.  Drew Brees and Marques Colston will outshine Trent Edwards and Terrell Owens and lift the Saints to a 3-0 start.

Prediction: Saints 34 Bills 24

Chicago @ Seattle 4:05 ET FOX (Good bounce-back game for Jay Cutler last week.  He needed it.  Now the Bears fly to the west coast to face a Seahawk team that may be without their starting QB Matt Hasselbeck.  If he plays the Seahawks have a shot.  If he doesn't they have not shot.  I will call the game as if Hasselbeck is out.

Prediction: Bears 24 Seahawks 17

Pittsburgh @ Cincinnati 4:15 ET CBS (Hard to believe that both teams did what they did last week, but this sets up a critical early season match-up as both teams, assuming the Ravens win, do not want to fall two games back of the Ravens in the AFC North.  This will be a close game.

Prediction: Steelers 24 Bengals 20

Denver @ Oakland 4:15 ET CBS (Are the Broncos for real?  If they beat the Raiders on Sunday, we may have a better answer to that.  But, I think the Raiders come back home and play a good game and rattle Kyle Orton and company.)

Prediction: Broncos 13 Raiders 20

Miami @ San Diego 4:15 ET CBS (The Dolphins desperately need a win to avoid starting the season 0-3.  But the Chargers are looking to avenge last week's tough loss to the Ravens.  The Chargers will be angry and they are going to play like it.)

Prediction: Dolphins 20 Chargers 30

Indianapolis @ Arizona 8:20 ET NBC (The Colts defense was gassed on Monday night, but the Colts still won the game.  Peyton Manning looked as good as ever and this kid Garcon may be something special.  But now they have to fly out to the west coast on a short week.  That would seem to be a disadvantage for the Colts.  Never underestimate them though.)

Prediction: Colts 20 Cardinals 27

Carolina @ Dallas 8:30 ET MNF ESPN (Tony Romo needs to have a good game, otherwise the fans will really be all over him.  The Panthers desperately want to avoid starting out 0-3, especially with the Falcons and Saints as hot as they are.  We should know a lot better the direction of both teams after this game.)

Prediction: Panthers 17 Cowboys 31

Well that is all I have for this week.  Enjoy the football week everybody.  It should be another wild week in the NFL.  Till next time, c ya.
