Michael Vick Ready to play in the NFL, the most anticipated comeback in football in quite some time Week 3 if your the Eagles Coaching Staff, do you start him versus Kansas City? Do you start Michael Vick this 27th of Sept. at home versus the Chiefs?  Currently from Wednesday USATODAY Newspaper under match ups NFL lines have the Eagles a 9.5 point favorite against the 0-2 KC Chiefs.  The Chiefs have allowed 51 points against while scoring 34.  The Eagles go into Week 3 without Donavan McNabb from his injury week one and have scored 60 points and allowed 58 points.

This is a big game for the Eagles at 1-1 with the NY Giants at 2-0 going into Sundays Game versus Tampa Bay, a road game for the Giants.  Dallas is at 1-1 plays Monday Night hosting Carolina.  Washington is 1-1 plays at Detroit Sunday.  This is a pivotal week for the Eagles to compete against the other teams in the NFC East, and with Vick available this week, do you start him?

Week 2 McNabbs replacement K Kolb was second for yards in stats with 391 yards passing although the Eagles were defeated 48-22 to the new NFC powerhouse New Orleans Saints.  Kolb on those 391 passing yards had 2 TD's, and threw for 3 Int's.  It is good to know that Kolb is a capable QB.  The question is Sunday do you start Michael Vick?

I think its a good opportunity to insert Michael Vick into the line up for the Eagles.  I d like to see what he can do out there early in the season.  It is going to be interesting to see if the coaching staff inserts him as a second string QB going in for plays.  I think starting him is a good option, and the fans will get to see how the Eagles coaching staff handle the fact that Michael Vick is ready to play again in the NFL?

This is his week.  No matter how you look at it, Vick has not played in the NFL since 06.  The sooner you get him into the line up and swing of things, the better it is to see how the player investment pays off.  This is the golden opportunity for Vick in that he is actually needed right now the fact that McNabb is suffering from a rib injury.  You don't want to insert McNabb to soon, and this is a good moment to see how Michael Vick can swing 4 or 5 games in a row and most importantly produce wins.  He is going to produce ratings, but that is not what the coaching staff is looking at although the networks are, and many fans of football are.

Some good games week Three.  The Bengals/Steelers game seems to be the game of the day Week 3.  But the attention is going to be on the Chiefs/Eagles game to see how Michael Vick comes into the game or if he doesn't play at all.  Michael Vick is ready to play again in the NFL Week 3, and this is a good week of football for him to make his comeback in my opinion.

     "START EM"?

The answer is simple. Kolb starts and Vick should be booed out of the stadium. Since they are not going to do that, then Vick should only play when Kolb and Garcia go down. Having said that, Kolb was awesome today, and Vick did not even need to show up.
