Are we possibly looking back at 2007. I know it's early, but I can't help but this 1-2 start is not just a case of unlucky football. Sure, If Jeff Reed, misses just one of those kick than the Bears game isn't over. But Cincy......
Where is the defense? And don't you dare say Troy is hurt. They had no pass rush in the 4th quarter. They played a lousy and loose prevent that allowed Palmer to move the team down the field. Two weeks in a row, the Steelers have turned into Brad Lidge and crapped away a game.
13 points in the first half should have been 24. The game should have been out of reach by the end of the third. The game should have been won. The Steelers could very well be 3-0. They could also very well be 0-3. This is not an abberation. These Steelers will not make the playoffs. They will not get the wildcard. They will not defend their title.
"It's early," you say. Take a look at the teams that are around. They are now in third place in their own division. The Ravens are for real and without adoubt are the winners of the North. New England, the Jets, The Colts, the Chargers, are all good teams. With better records. The Broncos and Bengals sit in the wildcard spots.
The, STEELERS, folks are in trouble. Here is to packing it in and waiting for the draft. Maybe they will finally draft a God-damn lineman.
On a more positive note--Congrats Hines,.You deserved it.
