Now, I am a diehard Broncos fan, but I am tired of the Raiders being a laughing stock every year. When ever San Diego or Denver beats them, it is looked over because it's "Just the Raiders" and it gets old. It's not that I want the Raiders to be a dominant franchise again, but I would like them to become a respectable franchise again. So this is my solution to the Raiders problems.

Trade Russell next offseason for anything-The Raiders need to get Jeff Garcia back, bench Russell so he stops killing his trade value (prob. already dead). Then trade him for a 7th round pick if they can. If not, just hold onto him as a back up until his contract runs out.

Draft a QB-I read a great blog a while back, where the guy said that the Raiders shouldn't draft a QB because they have had terrible luck, but I think that with the heavy QB class coming out next year (Bradford, McCoy, Snead, Claussen, Tebow). Now with this heavy class, some QB's are going to drop in the draft. And that is why I wouldn't draft one in the first round with there annual top 10 pick, but get them in the 2nd round.

1st round- Take a left tackle- The Raiders are set at the skill positions (other than QB). DHB will develop into a solid reciever, Murphy is turning into a good one too. Fargas, Bush, and Run-DMC are a great running game. The thing that is killing Oakland is that they can't win the battle in the trenches. As always, Left tackles will be at a premium and they should go after one, but make sure it's the right one. They don't want another Robert Gallery.

2nd round- previously mention QB- I chose for them to wait until the second round for a QB because this is when Tebow will start to be a reasonable pick. Most scouts don't have him at QB in the NFL, but I think he has the skill. He also has what the Raiders need more than anything on that team... Leadership skills. He is the guy in this draft that can lead this team from day 1.

They also need to give Tom Cable more than one year- He is a good coach and he needs time to put in his system. The Raiders need to give him a chance.

I hate the Raiders but I would like them the be competitive again so the division isn't such a joke. (I didn't do the Chiefs because there is to much to talk about)

I don't see Tebow being there and with his speed and strength I think Al will take him in the 2nd. If the cap is gone, then yeah, cut him. Gallery is a good left guard, but he is getting paid a tackles money. So in my mind he is a bust. It would be like paying a punter QB money because he is good at punting.
