So now Michael Crabtree wants to meet with the Niners. I'm guessing this has to do with the fact that the team is 3-1 (3-0 in division) with a 2 game lead in the NFC West. Naaah. That couldn't be it! The fact is this guy could end up being a cancer on a team that finally has a persona that fits.

A tough as nails coach has created a defense first team that runs first second and third. Although Sean Hill is finally being allowed to do something. And maybe Vernon Davis is finally becoming the TE everyone thought he would be. LB Patrick Willis is the superstar on this team not QB Hill or even RB Frank Gore. The reality is that Crabtree will never be the face of this franchise. He is not Rice . Even TO didn't pull stuff until he had been around awhile & had proven himself.

He is not going to matter this year & maybe not even next year. Again, it took VD 3 years to become a team first player. All those dropped passes., no YAC, more time blocking than receiving, he finallly learned. The question is will Crabtree? I just don't see this primadonna getting along with Singletary. I would much rather see him sit out & get stiffed in next years draft. It's not a right to play in the NFL. Word to future draftees. Don't listen to greedy relatives or friends from the hood. I doubt that Eugene Parker wanted you to hold out all year. It hurts his reputation. Deion? Why would you listen to that fool. You're not going to Dallas. Questions would be asked & the commish would be the one asking. Go to Canada. Lots of first rounders have found out that college success means nothing. Go ask Reggie Bush or Matt Leinhart about that.
