With college football's season well underway and the BCS Standings set to be released soon, it's time to start thinking about bowl games and potential matchups already. Lately I have been looking to see what the experts pick in their 2009-2010 bowl projections, and most everyone is seeing the same thing, give or take a few mid-level bowl changes.
If Texas wins the Red River Shootout this weekend, they seem to be a likly pick for the BCS Championship game against the SEC Champs, either Florida or Alabama. Ohio State and USC appear headed for a rematch in the Rose Bowl since both have a single loss and it appears that Virginia Tech and Cincinnati are also headed back to BCS games this season. Boise State, playing @ Tulsa currently, also appears to BCS-boud, but if TCU can run the table and pickup two wins over Top 25 teams in doing so...it could be another interesting end of the year for Boise this year.
It will surely be interesting to see how things progress over the remainder of the season, and one thing is certain, somone will get upset to mess all of these picks up!
