As I approach the ripe old age of 70, I am thinking of the many moments of excitem,ent and pleasure provided for me by radio and TV sports announcers and commentators. Accordingly, I have come up with 10 names that I would induct into a mythical "Veteran Broadcasters Hall of Fame. Those 10 would be:
Keith Jackson, Dick Enberg, Vin Scully, Beano Cook, Bill Raftery, Hubie Brown, Lee Corso, Ken Venturi, Pat Summerall and Ron Santo.
