If you had asked a panel of experts before the start of this NFL season who they thought would lead the league in yards, touchdowns and receptions after 5 weeks in the season, a few of them may have chimed in with Steve Smith. Of course, they would have meant #89 from the Carolina Panthers, not #12 of the New York Giants, who is enjoying a breakout season.
