I felt the need for this after reading everyone's knee jerk reaction about how I can be such a **** for saying that Tiger needs to straighten his drive out if he wants to score better and win more.

The biggest reaction I got was the people somehow thought I was speaking blasphemy by even saying that he needs to correct something in his game.  the second biggest reaction I got was that he wasn't in a slump like I said....even though the word "slump" or any insinuation to it wasn't even touched on by me.   Then rounding out third, was "he makes so much money"....well that doesnt' straighten out his drive now does it?  So what if he wins big purse events.....he doesn't have any majors this year and that's what he's gunning for.

He's not in a slump.  he just tries to beat the **** out of his tee ball.  He's 57% in the fairway off the tee.  How can people on here pretend that he's Golf's god when he's 57% off the tee?

The shear action of trying to muscle the ball is what twerks your swing.  that's what gets you out of your rhythm.

If Tiger would just slow his tee shot swing down and control it better, he wouldn't snooker himself as much and he's put himself in position to capitalize and score better.  Tiger himself would tell you the same thing, but it seems that all the fairweather golfers that picked up a club the day after he won his first masters, have not learned that Golf isn't black/white, heads/tails, or on/off.  You can be the best in the world and suck at driving.  57% is sucking....flat out.  He's a great golfer and I never said he wasn't, as some of you assume I did without even reading one paragraph, but he sucks at driving and putting it in the trees or the thick rough is holding him up from making a bird or an eagle, or even saving par, instead of losing a stroke and swearing all loud on national TV.  He gets frustrated because he's in a bad position and he puts himself in bad positions with his inconsistent driving.

It's not a slump, It's not his kid, or his dad, or his money, or whatever other nonsensical excuse everybody makes for him.  It's his crappy driving and he would easily knock 2 or 3 strokes of EVERY round if he could just get to a modest percentage like 75% off the tee.
