My own personal sports hell continues after going to watch the Dallas Stars fall to the LA Kings 4-1 last night at the American Airlines Center in Dallas.
*sigh*
My 2009 record for Rangers games attended: 4 - 9
My 2009 record for Stars games attended so far: 0 - 2
My lifetime record for Cowboys games attended: 1 - 0... Playoff game against the Vikings in 97. This record will probably stay this way as I'll never be able to afford a boarding pass to the Death Star.
I'm beginning to think I'm bad luck but I will say that I didn't expect much last night as 4 of our starters are out with injuries. Once we got flustered all we did was pass the puck around the boards which seemed like a good idea because there was usually a King there to pick it up.
The Cowboys are coming off of a "win" in Kansas City. The Rangers season was better than expected but was almost too stressful to enjoy in a lot of ways. I only care about the Mavericks when they make the playoffs... and then vanish from them quickly like a fart in the wind.
Dallas teams need to come out of hibernation! Or maybe I should just stay away from the games.
