You had to know it was going to happen. I have practically been calling it all season. Given the opportunity to win the game, Steven Hauschka would miss a field goal; even if it was an easy one. And this Sunday, that prophecy came true as Hauschka missed a 44 yard field goal to win the game against the Vikings in a game that was being played in a dome.

So now, the focus of the blame on the loss moves from the referees for the past two weeks to the lone Steven Hauschka. Missing the game winning, 44 yard field goal in a dome is inexcusable for anyone. Even the low end of kickers in the league would have made that field goal.
