For years I have longed to have a semi-decent baseball team in Milwaukee.
Now, it seems like it's time to see these guys go to the postseason.
The Brewers as of now, are 3 games up on the Cubs, and looking to pull away in Sept.
Ryan Braun is most likely going to be the Rookie of the Year in the NL, and Prince, even though he has been in a Home Run slump, is a strong choice for NL MVP.
Im proud of what the Brewers been doing as they did it the right way, and thats scouting youth and developing them correctly in the minors. Yovanni Gallardo is doing well for a rookie, as they are going to the right thing and keep his innings down unlike some teams were they would use him all season only to break down next year and go on Tommy John's. As well know, a shoulder surgery on a good arm can, and most of the time, destroys a prospect future and cash flow in MLB.
The Cubs will catch us, and take the lead, but for them to stay red hot for the next two months would be crazy, as they will cool off soon. For the Brewers, we must crank it in late Aug, and early Sept if we are looking to bring home a playoff birth.
