I wanted to create this group for people who are currently training for a race of some kind. Whether it be a 5K, 10K, half-marathon, or full marathon. The idea is all the members can share ideas with the trials and successes of their training. I'm currently in the middle of training for my first marathon. I'm training in Colorado and running the Chicago marathon in October. I hope the mile high altitude will give me the advantage to finish the race and finish strong. I don't know if there there will be enough interest in my group, but it's worth a try.
