We've hit Halloween halfway through the college football season. If the teams & players were collecting candy instead of stats & wins, who'd get the yummy Reese's and Crunch bars, and who'd go home with nothing but peanuts?

Nothing But Peanuts

  • LeGarrette Blount for punching a Boise State player and trying to go after BSU fans following Oregon's season-opening loss
  • Anyone from Oregon who seriously considers reinstating LeGarrette Blount. I don't care if he's young & says he learned his lesson and apologized. That's assault.
  • Texas' Aaron Williams - the behemoth who knocked OU's Sam Bradford on his shoulder and out of his college career
  • Colt McCoy - nothing personal
  • Notre Dame's Kyle McCarthy. He's a tremendous athlete but he makes the list for making interceptions against my USC Trojans.
  • Notre Dame's Manti Te'o. Another tremendous athlete who toyed around with USC during the recruiting process and took out a whole lot of aggression & attitude against them during the ND-USC game.
  • Jesse Palmer - He reminds me of an ex-boyfriend. Plus he was on The Bachelor, and that's something you just don't live down.
  • Awkward mustaches. USC's Jordan Congdon, Oklahoma's Landry Jones and, over the summer, Texas' Colt McCoy all tried - and failed miserably - to rock that look.

Gummi Bears, Kit-Kats & Reese's Cups

  • Oklahoma's Sam Bradford. He had the Heisman trophy, most of the OU passing records and potentialy a second chance to win the BCS title. Two shoulder sprains later, he underwent surgery and ended his fabulous (if too short) career with the Sooners. I wouldn't wish that fate on anyone, and Bradford certainly doesn't deserve that. So he gets all the candy he wants.
  • Oklahoma's Landry Jones. Lame-o lip caterpillar aside, Jones has done a superb job stepping up to fill Bradford's spot in the Oklahoma offense. It's not an easy task following a Heisman-winner, especially when you thought you'd have an extra year before you were called on to do so. OU will be fine with Jones over the next few seasons.
  • USC's Matt Barkley. He's frickin adorable with his buoyant attitude and sweet QB skills. He's exceeded many people's expectations - including my own - as a teenage true freshman starting for the Trojans.
  • Notre Dame's Robby Parris. He was originally on the bad list for his sick play against USC and his tacky purple hair extensions, but he won me over with the same sick play (it's much easier to offer admiration since Notre Dame didn't pull off the win) and his thrift-shopping skills. Thrift-shopping is where it's at. The "new" suits he gets before every home game might be pretty bad, but the deals he scores are even more amazing than some of the plays he can make on the field.

Bonus: Red Hots

  • Texas' Jordan Shipley. Can't wait for this smoking hot receiver to head off the NFL so I can finally allow myself to drool over him. As long as he's in a Longhorns jersey, I can't, with a clear conscience, obsess over him.
  • Oregon State's Sean Canfield. He might have come up a little short against USC, but his performance - and his pretty face - won me over.

Hard to believe you are an SC fan. And Barkley IS awfully damn likeable.

Soooo Aaron Williams is on this list because he hurt your baby.

Sam Bradford's not my baby but yeah, the guy whose hit ends someone's exceptionally decorated career would get nothing if he came to my house for Halloween, even though it was a totally legit play. Pretty sure this season would be a lot more interesting if OU was in the title hunt again and Bradford was gunning towards another Heisman year. It's nothing personal (although Williams is a Longhorn so maybe it is a little personal) - the BYU dude who delivered the hit in the 1st game was left off only because Bradford was able to return following that injury.

Hey stilettos....What happen to your Trojans! You wouldn't by any chance hate our horns because they beat "the best team in college football ever" in their own back yard would you?

The way the BCS is I don't know how things would have turned out. I don't like the way things are and college football needs a playoff to end the suspicious nature of what they do. Declare a legit champion and stop playing games with everybody. As far as Bradford goes. I think Colt is ahead of him in some ways. But Sam may be a better pro. I don't really think too much of either of them because college qbs seem to catch on easy.
