03:27 PM ET  11.03 | Wow. What a year for university football in Ontario. No fewer than six teams in the mix from start to finish. And exciting playoffs so far. Needless to say, as a born-and-raised McMaster fan I'm thrilled to see the Marauders in the hunt, knocking off Western in the regular season, and then beating Ottawa in the first round of the playoffs. This weekend's OUA semi-finals promise to be a pair of barn-burners: McMaster at Queens in a rematch of an early-season defensive battle that the Gaels won by a single point; and Western at Laurier, another great installment of a fantastic rivalry. I'm picking Mac, from my heart, and Laurier, because Western's defense is just too thin. That would make a McMaster/Laurier final for the historic Yates Cup. Wow. Wish I could be back in Southern Ontario for that one! (Written on my Mac so, sorry, no paragraphs!)
