I hear Michael Vick and Barry Bonds are just targeted by their race.  Yet Donaghy isnt'.  None of these people are targeted by their race, but are targeted because THEY ARE CRIMINALS.

Duke LaCrosse.  Al Sharpton and all them was talking about how guilty these players are.  They never talked about how the girl kept changing her story.  That whole story was blown out of proportion because some people turned it into a race story.

I was watching a show where they were talking about Aaron's 715 and a guy said "Two fans jumped on the field and attacked Aaron as he was rounding 2nd." ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I was mad that no one called him out on that.  The two fans as you all know, shook his hand and patted him on the back.

I watched the SF city hall meeting yeasterday on ESPN and one talked about people rooting against Bonds to get the record b/c hes black? What? If Bonds doesnt get the record, another black man would still hold it.  Those people are rooting against him b/c hes a jerk and think he took steroids.

This may be just me, but I think the race card is like 'the boy who called wolf.'  If it every becomes a huge issue in some scandal, I will just ignore it. That card has been played too many times.  That's just what I think.  I don't think an entire race of white people should be held accountable for what happened in the past. And watch, I'll get critized because I'm talking about race. Thats how it works out now-a-days.

Nope...I'm brown and I think that the race card has been seriously abused in alot of situations. In fact it's embarassing. Why would you commit a crime and during the whole ordeal, call to the fact that your black or whatever?!!! I am always like "thanks alot..thanks for pointing that out so others can say YOU SEE?!" I think it's a cop out in most cases.

The race card has been over played, but you can't deny that race still a big factor in day to day life in America

True it has been a factor but not in situations like this...you killed somebody? It's not because of your race ! You screwed up! imagine if "white society" did the samething....I evaded taxes because I'm white ...I'm indian and never ever because of my race have I had the urge to scalp somebody...the race issue is another factor in other issues but not breaking laws and I mean YOU BROKE LAWS because your right people are still getting accused of stuff because of race....anyways can I just say that Emmit Smith and Clintion Portis should be quiet....DOG FIGHTING IS A CRIME! I could almost here a DOH!! echo......YOUR PAID TO PLAY NOT TO SAY..

race issue is still there but it isnt even comparable to what people make it sound like. i dont know anyone who roots against black, brown, white, or asians b/cof their skin color. they root against them b/c they dont like them or their team

yup...I mean Deion is my dude, being a former Cowboys...but damn....Deion your embarassing me, man!
I read some articles about how some people are mad because Russell Simmons and Al Sharpton (boggles the mind) jumped on board for action against Michael Vick. They are mad stating that although Michael Vick maybe guilty..why would you as a black man help "them" take another black man down? Which really makes me crazy because say that this is a real issue concerning these individuals, RACE should not be a reason to keep quiet because you want to stand together. You definitely wouldn't suggest that because the sniper waging terror a few years back is black your baking him cookies and pushing for a pardon?
