Just when you thought things couldn't get worse for the Oakland Raiders it just did with the revelations of Tom Cable's abusive history. The Raiders have no where to go but up from the bottom of the barrel, just like the St.Louis Rams and Redskins to an extent, but it's really worse for the Raiders. The Raiders need alot of work starting from the top to the bottom of the organization. First Al Davis needs to make some better decisions, the man is great but he's just become old and stubborn and it's showing through his teams lack of performance. Second JaMarcus Russell has been a flop and hasn't helped his team as leader or as a quarterback.. Now having said that I believe that if the Raiders bring in a great QB coach that it could do alot to improve their situation in the seasons to come because J.Russell does have the talent and ability to perform, he proved it in college, but he's just on a bad team with poor coaching, it could happen to the best of them. As far as the Tom Cable situation he needs to have a press conference, come clean, get counseling and then start setting goals for over all team improvement. Unfortunately these improvements may never come to pass until either Al Davis steps down and that is highly unlikely, but anything is possible. One thing I can say is that their fans have always been loyal in their teams losing efforts and they deserve to have a successful team.
