Pedro Martinez should probably retire after his breakdown and less than "presidente"-like pitcing performance in Game 6 of the World Series which the Yankees ultimately won. He just doesn't have the power anymore, and I feel that if he stays in the league that he may continue to decline. If he wants to continue playing he should develop a workout and strengthening routine such as the one Nolan Ryan used to sustain his great career. Pedro needs to re-gain his power back at least to the point where he can hit 95 every once in a while. Unfortunately I doubt this will happen. All in all its been an outstanding hall of fame run by Pedro throughout his career and it's in my opinion that he should retire if he can't take the time to work on a strengthening program.
