Redeemed. End of story. Thats how the Ravens and their fans have to feel after Sunday's 30-7 win over the then undefeated Denver Broncos. After three straight loses that probably should have been wins without some mistakes, the Ravens needed to prove to their fans and the league that they are not out of it yet and can still hang with the supposed big boys of the league.
Also redeemed is Steven Hauschka. When we last saw Steven on the field was two weeks previously in the Metrodome trying to win the game. Yeah, trying to win the game. Instead, he transformed into a shankopotamus. Just about everyone hated him. However, he came in, after the bye week to lament, to make 3 out of 3 field goals and 3 out of 3 extra points. He accounted for 12 of the Ravens' 30 points. Not only did he sink 3 field goals, but they were pretty lengthy. His first one was from 43 yards out, the second was 35, and the final one was a 31-yarder.
