I have come to notice that the profanity filter here on FanNation is weird. There are some very offensive words that aren't filtered and then there are some less offensive, even some random words that you cannot say here on FanNation. Among the less offensive and random words are "****" and the band "****." See? You can't even tell what those words were, so I will say them in a way that won't get filtered (p o o p and the band Pear l J am).
And then of course are the words that aren't censored but should be. "Damn" is not censored as you can see and neither is "Goddamnit." I personally think Goddamnit should be censored because a large number of people take offense to it. "Hell" is not censored either. I think the moderators of FanNation need to address these issues immediately because of how senseless and stupid the mistakes are (mistakes as in banning Pear l J am and p o o p).

I've been waiting for someone to write this blog! I had no clue p.e.a.r.l. J.a.m. wasn't allowed until I made a reference to them in a tournament TD. Because the annoying "****" came up, it looked probably 100 times dirtier than if I had just been allowed to use the band name.
