Poor Bud, poor, poor, Bud. I can't imagine the rigors he's experience right now. How does he do it? Traveling from beautiful West Coast city to beautiful West Coast city via first class, first rate bus transportation-to watch BASEBALL GAMES-no less. Baseball games! How does he not cease to exist in such horrible conditions.
More baseball players and people associated with the game need to understand it's not exactly a burden playing or observing a game you've loved all your life for paychecks with more zeroes than Ryan Leaf's career Passer rating. Do they understand that they're being pampered as opposed to tortured. Walk down a New York street someday, and look at one of those poor homeless guys that only owns a Yanks hat, and the pinstripers are all he has to live for, and maybe your 'Herculean effort' will be more in the league of a 'Benedict Arnold effort.'
Or worse, Bud Selig, try being a Philly fan for a week.
