So much going on in the sports world right now.  And since I'm having a hard time getting motivated to go back to work after turkey overload and several days off, I thought I might as well share some thoughts since I haven't for a while.

First off, NASCAR finished last week with Jimmie winning his 4th straight Cup.  This feat is beyond amazing.  How often do pro teams repeat in any sport?  Not very dang much.  I have a good friend who is a huge Jimmie fan.  He loves it when people just bash Jimmie/Chad and the whole Hendrick team.  You may not like Jimmie, but you have to respect what the 48 team has done for the past four years.  Chad will be back as crew chief, so who's to say they can't do it a couple more years?  Look out!

College football is winding down it's regular season.  If there is any year which should wake up the BCS, it is this year.  Right now we have the top 6 teams undefeated.  Unfortunately, either Alabama or Florida will lose next week.  So with the post-season about to be played, there will be 5/6 teams vying for 'BCS' supremacy.  The top 12 teams in the nation should be seeded, and put to the test in a playoff.  TCU has just as much right at a title shot as does Texas.  More so if you ask me.  They have played better competition all year, and just destroyed everyone they've played.  I firmly believe they could beat Florida and Alabama and Texas.  But we'll never know, will we?  TCU will end up in the Fiesta Bowl playing Georgia Tech or Cinicinnati.  Such a shame.  We'll probably end up with 2 or 3 undefeated teams when the dust clears, but only one gets 'voted' as champion.  It's a conspiricy theory I tell you.

Charlie Wies out at ND.  Who didn't see that one?  The question is, who wants that job?  You always hear big names like Stoops, Meyer, Kelly, but that is a job filled with acid reflux, high blood pressure, weight gain, and the ability to look stupid like Gump when spoken to by the media.  Will be interesting to see who they find.

Tiger, Tiger, Tiger!!  Not saying it's true, because we don't know for sure.  But it's looking like a small case of cheating on the wife will turn into a huge fiasco.  Morale of the story?  Keep the zipper zipped up when leaving the house and the hot Swedish wife.

Saints and!  And that's all I have to say about that!

Browns, Redskins, Raiders, Rams, Bucs,!  And that's all I have to say about that!

Nets - 0-17.  Hmmmm.  Time to bring in Hubie Brown to right the ship.

Heisman Trophy......I say give it to Toby Gerhart.  He was a man among boys Saturday night.  Best player in college football right now IMHO!

Just had a very hot babe move into the office next to me.  My posts may fewer and further between now that I have a built in distraction.  Who am I kidding, I'm always up for any distraction I can get.  That's it for now.  Thanks for stopping by.  Until next time, this is life as I see it.
