My first experience wearing my teams jersey | robin fine's Blog

02:13 AM ET 01.09 | About a month ago I got to watch a Cowboys game at a friends house, everybody was wearing a jersey but me, because 1. I didn't own one, 2. I didn't know I was supposed to be wearing one, and 3. I had only seriously gotten into this team 100% months prior... so my friend let me wear his autographed Roy Williams jersey. We won the game and I was introduced to the concept of sports supersticions and 'lucky' actions that we fans do to somehow magically pursuade the teams win. Anyhoo.. for Christmas I got a cowboys cami, and a Mavs t shirt. I wore the cowboys top the day we... the day I don't want to talk about, and didn't take it off for two days. Then I watched the Mavs play the Lakers, and I put my Mavs tshirt on over my cowboys top that I still hadn't take off yet. The Mavs lost, I spilled milk all over my new team shirt, I smelled bad from sweating so much durring the cowboys game, hadn't showered, and I went to bed layered in my two teams clothing, and dripping of tears. The following day, I signed up to this place.
