Last season, the league really was a little bit weird.  A few teams had points deducted, some teams just weren't there, and some teams didn't play to their potential.  But this season will be different.  The Serie A champion Inter Milan is the team to beat.  They are lead by striker Adriano, midfielder Luis Figo, and defender and captain Javier Zanetti.  They come off of a very good Champions League run and are probably the most underrated champions in the world, next season they will sneal up on some people.  Secondly, are the champions, the champions of the Serie B Juventus.  They are coming off an impressive performance, where they lost only 4 games all season.  They are lead by goalkeeper Gianliuigi Buffon, striker Alessandro Del Piero, and midfielder Pavel Nedved.  Some of these guys won't have many more chances to win the Serie A title, so look for them to compete.  Last season's runner-up was Roma.  They are a very attacking side that play 1 striker and 5 midfielders.  They are lead by captian and midfielder Franseco Totti.  They also have Italian international midfielder Daniele De Rossi.  They have a very good team, and are very hard to predict.  They can go as far as Totti wants them to go.  Last year, Lazio finished in 3rd.  They are lead by players such as captain Luciano Zauri and striker Simone Inzaghi.  They are a team that manyhave already writtne off, but they will be a force to reckon with.  The 4th place finshers from last season was AC Milan.  They are the defending UEFA Champions League winners.  They still have Kaka, Alberto Gilardino, and Clarence Seedorf.  As long as Dida can play steady in the nets, Milan should be fine.

So here are my predictions:

1. AC Milan- one word, Kaka.

2. Juventus- they are back, and they are better than ever.

3. Inter Milan- the stars just miss out, Figo comes to America afterwards.

4. Roma- Totti has another big season, and they score plenty of goals.

5. Lazio- they come up short, just not enough star power.
