I HAVE BEEN WONDERING WHY IS BONDERMAN HAVE SUCH A HARD TIME GETTING OUT OF THE 1ST INNING WITHOUT GIVING UP A TON OF RUNS WELL I THINK HE DOES NOT WARM UP ENOUGH IN THE BULLPEN MAYBE SOMEONE SHOULD TELL HIM TO THROW A FEW MORE PITCHS.
WHAT DOES EVERYONE ELSE THINK?

Tom Glavine has always had first inning trouble throughout his entire career...Bonderman has generally been able to settle down and pitch well enough to keep his team in the games he starts, which is the key right there.
As long as any first inning struggles are limited, it's not really a big deal...especially on a team like the Tigers with the powerful offense on it's side.

Maybe Bonderman needs to settle into a groove, not as sharp with his stuff or physical looseness at first, but as long as his team isnt taking losses during his starts because of those early inning runs, this isnt really an issue unless it costs them games in the playoffs.

Heres a plan how bout the Tigers put in a reliever in the 1st inning and have Bonderman start in the 2nd inning. They have to do something were not going to win games when he gives teams runs right off the bat like he does. Anyway Bono is still young so look on the bright side he will most likely get better in the 1st inning and beyond....hopefully.
