Sux: Leaf Nation's Holy Father
|

Well if you've been through the group page, than you were warned that this is a fan site for those who drink the blue kool-aid. And here it is. The Leafs are a playoff caliber team with Kessel in the fold. Is there time to still make a push this season, yes. Is it likely to happen, I'll say yes to that as well. By that I mean that there will come a time were people/experts will say that if they continue to play at a certian pace they will be back in the picture.

Maybe that's a stretch, but hey I had them in the playoffs at the start so I guess I have to stick to it. 96 points to boot, so there really is no point in jumping off the band wagon now right. I mean I can't make a legitimate claim at credibility anyway. So I'm in, and I'm saying there's a chance, though it may be the same chance that Jim Carrey had in Dumb and Dumber.

Look they have played pretty well over the last 10 games and I'm swimmin in the kool-aid. Bask in the moment, cause it might not last. So there hasn't been much in the way of Leaf commentary here but I got to say a weekly leaf blog can be tough.

Getting into more actual Leaf talk and less fan delusion, they picked up 6 points in 4 games. Kessel looks like everything he was supposed to be, and losing those picks for him doesn't hurt like we were all thinking it would. We've got Atl, and NYI on tap next week after Bos on Saturday. Take 2 of those games and I'll be rather happy.

Til next time happy leafing all.
