Last night against the Padres, the St. Louis Cardinals tied a MLB Record with 10 consecutive hits in an inning, including two hits from pitcher Braden Looper. Scott Rolen had a three run homer in the stretch, and was immediately followed by it by Ryan Ludwick's solo shot. Ludwick has hit back to back home runs. Those ten hits powered a 10 run inning to lead the Cards to a 10-5 win. Of course, this record was nice, but does it matter? Of course not. Even though it meant nothing though, it's still nice for us Cards fans to have something to be proud of in this miserable season.

Don't give up on the season yet. 7 games out isn't terrible, and maybe Carpenter will come back early.
