I was checking out my favorite online sportsbook today and decided to take a look at how they were handicapping who would win the 2008 Super Bowl.

Take a look at the favorites:

New England Patriots 5-2

San Diego Chargers 6-1

Indianapolis Colts 8-1

Probably in line with what most of the experts are predicting.

Now let's look at the next set:

Cincinnati Bengals 15-1

Chicago Bears 15-1

New Orleans Saints 15-1

Love seeing my Bengals handicapped higher than the Ravens or Steelers.

Next set:

Philadelphia Eagles 20-1

San Francisco 49'ers 20-1

Seattle Seahawks 20-1

Baltimore Ravens 20-1

Dallas Cowboys 20-1

Denver Broncos 20-1

Next set:

Pittsburgh Steelers 25-1

Carolina Panthers 25-1

Next set:

New York Giants 30-1

Jacksonville Jaguars 30-1

Next set:

New York Jets 40-1

Next set:

St. Louis Rams 45-1

Arizona Cardinals 45-1

Green Bay Packers 45-1

Next set:

Tampa Bay Bucs  50-1

Washington Redskins 50-1

Minnesota Vikings 50-1

Next set:

Miami Dolphins 55-1

Next set:

Tennessee Titans 60-1

Atlanta Falcons 60-1

Kansas City Chiefs 60-1

Now the really long shots:

Detroit Lions 75-1

Oakland Raiders 75-1

Buffalo Bills 100-1

Houston Texans 100-1

And the longest shot on the board:

Cleveland Quinns 150-1

I thought everyone might want to get a look at where their favorite teams come in and also do you think that the oddsmakers are way off on any of these?  And where do you think you would get great value for a bet, go with a favorite or pick a team at 20, 25-1.  Finally, it might be fun to maybe get some people together and come up with a consensus pick and make a "pretend" bet.  Wink Wink.

Enjoy.
