O.K. I've been on this site for a few months and I have noticed a lot of things about sports fans. So i have compiled a few of my observations into this blog.
1. People assume to many things without getting any facts or evidence. I've seen it all over this site. People listen to the media too much. Let me remind you what their job is, it is to find a story about anyone famous and blow it way out proportions. Also, people don't realize that someone is innocent until proven guilty in the court of law. They make an assumption and are biased off of that.
2. People take themselves waaaayyyy to seriously. I like to joke around, as do a lot of people on this site. Its when people can't take a joke that really rubs me the wrong way. Lighten up people.
3. Some people are just plain idiots. Let's be honest here, if your team sucked last year, chances are it will suck again. I'm tired of ignorent homers posting throwdowns about their home team. If only they beat this team, if only so & so wasn't injured... blah blah blah.

Don't preach about assumptions if you're going to say something like that. You obviously don't have any evidence yourself, so do yourself a favor and make sure you aren't contradicting your entire point in the first few sentences.
