As a die hard Patriots fan, the past couple of weeks have really pissed me off. I know the defense is young and developing, but watching the offense struggle as much as they have is just frustrating. The Pats have no #1 running back, Maroney is not the answer. And Randy Moss is looking more and more like T.O. every day... it's like he just doesn't care out there. Wes Welker seems to be the only guy out there that really wants it... and while Sam Aiken tries, he's a special teams guy thats been forced into the #3 receiver role. And what happened to giving the ball to Ben Watson or Kevin Faulk??? Man has it been a frustrating couple of weeks. Hopefull they get their act together this week. But with the news that Moss and a few of his buddies decided to show up late to practice and got kicked out, things are not looking good...
I'm sure that fans in the Hoosier State of Indiana have to be disappointed as well, seeing that their Pacers are an attrocious 6-13... oh, and their best player and only All-Star, Danny Granger, is out 4-6 weeks with a knee injury... great! I have to question head coach Jim O'Brien... he's playing Foster and Murphy over Roy Hibbert when Hibbert looked awesome earlier this season. How about giving his young guys Hibbert and Tyler Hansbrough some more minutes... Brandon Rush seems to have lost all his confidence... and T.J. Ford, who was supposed to flourish in his second year in O'Briens offense, looks worse than he has at any point in his career... I'm not saying O'Brien should be fired today, but if things don't improve soon the die-hard Indiana basketball fans are gonna be up in arms... they deserve better.
Well that's enough ranting for me for one day. If you want to read more of my stuff, check out my fantasy basketball advice articles on Examiner.com... my most recent article talks about players to pick up to replace the injured Granger.
