First and foremost, I am a buckeye fan.  I've lived in Columbus my whole life, I'm an alumn of THE Ohio  State University and I pretty much love everything buckeyes.  That said, I love Wisconsin's Alando Tucker.  I've had nightmares about him the last 5 years (yes, 5 is correct, he redshirted a year due to injury) and I LOVE Wisconsin basketball.  They do everything right.  Today was 'Do's last regular season game for the Badgers.  They won in dramatic fashinon, thanks to senior Kam Taylor's clutch 3 with seconds left.  'Do dropped 26...the Badgers scored 52.  It seems only proper that 'Do have such a huge game in his home finale.  He truly is one of the finer COLLEGE basketball players in the last decade.  I assume he will finish second in the POY voting behind Kevin Durant.  I mean, I guess I don't have a problem with that, because I feel like Kevin is a more skilled player, but I know Alando is the epitome of college basketball.  He represents everything this is true and pure with the college game.  He allegedly may not even be a first round pick in the next NBA draft, which truly makes me sick to my stomach.  After last Sunday's Buckeye's win at home against 'Sconsin, I, as a buckeye fan, actually came out of the game feeling that Wisconsin had the better TEAM.  They lost one of their key players minutes in to the second half and still very much had a chance to beat the #1 team in the nation on the road.  The Big Ten Tourney is this week, I'm rooting for round 3 of OSU/Sconsin.....Then Round 4 in the first week of April.  I feel like 'Do, Beau Ryan, and the Badgers have earned it.  At the very least, I've truly enjoyed Alando's game and antics even while killing my buckeyes!  Thanks for the memories Alando!

Welcome back woodman. You can't do any better than rooting for Alando Tucker. He might not be Player of the Year but he surely is College Athlete of the Year.

Thanks Arthur. He's the man....as are you.

Anytime you see a player of his caliber stick around for all 4 (or 5) years, it's always a good thing. Basketball as a whole would benefit from more guys following Alando's model.
