It was great to see a good solid effort by Purdue today.  They not only had the lumbering big men of Florida to deal with, but they had Billy Donovan and the "must protect number one seeds" refs against them.  Billy D spent the entire game jawing at the refs - not letting up for a moment.  Because, if a smaller, more aggresive team is ahead of Florida - it must be because the ref's are letting them get away with it.  This Elitism in college basketball is more apparant than ever this year.  I watched as Matt Painter just looked over at Billy D in amazment as if to say "Brother, let's just play straight up and see what happens - why are you turning this into a cheat fest?" 

I was totally surprised at how lazy that Noah guy looked.  He has that permanent look on his face like he just went one to many on the bong.  I'd be surprised if his NBA career amounts to anything.  He passes lackadasically and seems to not understand the finer points of boxing out.  Purdue's 6'8 Carl Landry took him school rebounding wise. 

And to top it off, leading 66-59 with 20 seconds left Florida puts on a full court press.  THANKS BILLY!  I hope you cheat your way to back to back titles before some NCAA infraction happens and puts you on the street at last.
