Hey Guys!
Sorry but the midterm season and job search is in progress. I've been busy and I just got back from a Caribbean cruise. It was excellent, but I was dealing with ESPN deportes, the actual raw feed of some CBB games without commercials or special effects/halftime shows/or anything showing other games scores. So that was nice. I wasn't able to fill out a bracket because we were at sea for selection sunday. Anyway my prediction is that Kansas will win, based on my perception of them being as physical as UCLA while being as fast and athletic as Memphis. Now looking at the bracket, with them having to push through both UCLA AND Florida, I'm not sure they are going to make it. Georgetown might have the easiest way to the Final Four. The big upset prediction is USC over UNC, but I don't think that will happen. My updated final four after seeing the actual bracket is Kansas, Florida, Ohio St, and Georgetown. I like UNC but they don't have a dominant player that they had during their national championship run. I'd have to stick with my gut and say that Kansas will somehow beat Florida, Ohio St will beat G'town, and Kansas will outrun G'town to the national championship. Kansas is the only team out of the big 4 who has the ability to come back and win. I feel as though the rest of the #1 seeds need to dominate their opponents and win by a large margin. That's that deal.
I also wanted to bring to your attention an important article that I wrote back during October. It featured how I felt like it wasn't possible for NFL players to be any bigger and faster that they already are without steroids. As I browsed ESPN.com today, the feature article was my EXACT arguement, focusing on Shawne Merriman. I highly encourage you all to read it, as it is linked right here: http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=klosterman/070319&sportCat=nfl
