Online voting for the Hank Aaron Award is now open. The award is given to a player from each league exhibiting "offensive greatness and the kind of character personified on and off the field by Aaron". Grandy is on his way to becoming the first 20 steals, 20 doubles, 20 triples, and 20 HR player since Willie Mays. Curtis also founded the Grand Kids Foundation and is actively involved in Detroit public schools where he will read to kids. Not only is Curtis Granderson a great baseball player, but he is a great person. He would be a perfect choice for the award!
