The Phillies lost this afternoon's game to the Dodgers and lost the series 2 games to 1. Fabio Castro pitched well giving up 2 hits in 5 innings but he walked 6. He gave up one run but the bullpen fell apart again.
The Phils are losing ground and need to bounce back this weekend.
I saw where the Cubs picked up Craig Monroe from the Tigers. Not that we need outfiled help but I sure wish Pat Gillick and group would try to pick up someone other than hit or Branyon to give the Phillies a boost and show that they are trying as hard as the players.
Reports are good on Chase Utley and he will probably rehab this weekend and possible get back by the Mets series next week.
