For the record I picked the Alabama Crimson Tide at the start of the season (not much of a gamble I no) and so in this game I picked them to win, but after half-time I found myself cheering on the Longhorns. No one gave Texas a chance when Colt went down but Texas has a bright future with Gilbert behind center. Well back to the game.... Everyone is going to say that McCoy would've pushed Texas over Alabama, but Alabama took there foot off the gas after Colt went out. Alabama I believe would've won no matter what but there is no way of knowing the out come. Overall it was an ok game when you think about everything that happened. A big thing though that pissed me off was Alabama scoring a touchdown when they were already up ten. Why do that!? Texas was going to lose. Hey Nick, all you had to do was take a knee and win the game. But who am I to say? I dont have any rings and im far from a head coach... that being said, it was a good job by both coaches and their staffs. The #1 team this year was Alabama and they leave tonight as National Champs. Congrates to the Crimson tide and to UT, both played hard and won my respect.
