Being a huge Schilling fan I'm not sure what he is trying to gain from all of the hoopla that he's generating right now. I mean he wants to sign with the D-Rays for God's sake I don't know if this is some sick joke or what the deal is but if he did go to the D-Rays it would not be a good move especially due to the fact that 2008 could quite frankly be his last hurrah. I mean seriously Curt if your plan is to retire after the '08 season why not go out on top? I mean isn't that how every athlete would want to end their career lifting that championship trophy one last time before riding off into the sunset? Also another reason not to go to the D-Rays: the team stinks and has never made it to the postseason that in and of itself should be incentive enough for anyone looking to win a title NOT to go there. In short, I realize you're trying to draw attention to your situation but this does not help your case.
