12:59 PM ET 08.27 | I went to the most electric NFL pre-season game ever-on Saturday Night! I couldn't have been more proud of the most improved Texan team in five years! You know it is a good game when you watch every play, every defensive move, every route, everything! Surrounded by Dallas Cowboy fans, as the fourth quarter clock ticked down, it was fun to say to the hard-core fans, have a nice drive back to Dallas. Don't get me wrong, I like seeing T.O, Julius Jones, and Jason Witten but, to beat the Cowboys and have home field advantage, was icing on the cake for the entire season. This was not just a game, this is a major rivalry, and watching our rookie Jakoby Jones run 91-yards for a touchdown in the first couple of minutes of the game was football magic. GO TEXANS!! For sure we will beat the pathetic Kansas City Chiefs September 9th. Having the Texans beat the Cowboys, was probably a good thing for Wade Phillips, you can only improve. And by the way, next time put in the explosive Marion Barber more than Julius Jones, he wants to play more, I watched him on the sidelines and he has the gameface. Houston got the Governor's Cup for the second time, out of three, awesome!! See ya!

You realize that was a pre season game and doesn't even count? PS no way in hell will the Texans beat the Chiefs a playoff team last year.

The Texans fans do realize that it was a preseason game. Unfortunately for the Chiefs, no one outside of Houston believes we have improved. We watched all the games last year. We saw the 0-4 start, and the 6-6 finnish. We beat the Colts for the first time at Christmas. We ran the ball the last half of the year. Now we have a QB that makes good decisions and gets rid of the ball to the open reciever, on time. We also have a good, experienced starting running back, who knows the timing to hit the holes the OL opens up. Our defence has improved against the run, so LJ won't get what he did last year. The Texans are on the way up. Watch and see!
