As an NFL fan I was watching the 3rd preseason game, the Bengals against Atlanta. The dress rehearsal as many analysts call it. To much dismay, half the game seemed to be on the small window while the "analyst" went on and on about Michael Vick.
Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't the Vick situation a side story now? It is a given he is not playing this year. So, why is half a football game committed to the Vick situation? I want to hear about Harrington, Palmer, Rudi, see and hear plays called, and get a real play by play. Last time I checked, as an NFL fan, criminals going through due process were not part of the play-by-play.
Call the game. If you want to run a special on the Vick gig, then do it after the game. When a game is being played, call it, play-by-play. Don't small screen a game for talk about off field activities.
