I'm not a huge soccer fan but when I heard that LA Galaxy star David Beckham was out for the year I'm thinking man they paid $250 million over five years for this? Good luck to them, I mean Beckham's a good player but come on once he came to America and started playing for the LA Galaxy that's when he became overhyped. The Galaxy are 0-4-1 with him in the lineup and I'm thinking thats a great investment. Also I don't think the fact that he is married to one of those attention seeking Spice Girls helps his image any. Considering that the Galaxy weren't great with him they really aren't losing much without him and the fact that he was injured on the field of play takes their already dim season and makes it even worse for them.
