Based on New Orleans performance against Minnesota, I see no chance that they will beat The Colts. For the record: The Vikings lost the game, the Saints didn't beat them. Too many fumbles, a "what were you thinking?" interception by Brett Favre, & some questionable calls put the Saints in the Super Bowl.
Now just so you know, I wanted New Orleans to win , because as a Niners fan I detest Brett Favre & what he has done to my team over the years, but New Orleans looked bad in the second half of this game, & you shouldn't be rewarded with a Super Bowl because the other team plays better but can't hold onto the ball.
I mean, Drew Brees was throwing Sean Hill type passes in the second half, & the offensive line seemed to be imitating the 49ers abysmal line. Plus at times I wondered if Jimmy Raye was doing the play calling. Minnesota seemed to control the game, but gave the ball up too many times. And remember, Adrian Peterson fumbled a couple of times & the Vikings recovered. I doubt that Indy will play that bad. I expect to see the NFL's poster boy & overused commercial spokesman to lift the Lombardi Trophy in 2 weeks.
Side note: How many times over the next two weeks will we be reminded that Peyton's dad Archie played for the Saints? Or that Peyton played at Tennessee? Please don't overdo the "good ole boy" routine.
