At the end of the first half of the season opener the Wolverines defense looks like a high school team as Appalachian State is literally unstoppable.
...as opposed to being "figuratively unstoppable."
Of course I'm not able to actually see the game because it's not being televised nationally.
So, despite the fact that you can't see the game, you know that the defense "looks like a high school team."
However, I'm sure the five people in the country who are actually able to get the Big Ten Network are enjoying the telecast.
I don't know about that. First, there are more than five of them. Second, I'm sure some of the people that got the Big Ten Network are Michigan fans, and they certainly aren't enjoying the telecast.
From what I can glean from the internet, Michigan seemes pretty pathetic so far today. The Mountaineers are ramming the ball down Michigan's throat on every possession. With a 28-17 halftime score the Wolverine offense seems a little rusty, and the defense seems like they're totally inept.
That was three "seems" in three sentences. Maybe you should consult a thesaurus.
I know they lost a few players on defense, but this is utterly ridiculous. When I say literally I mean literally...

I'm not sure how roasting the team's rear ends will help... He wants them to play better, right? Or is he trying to throw the game by inflicting first-degree burns on his players? I smell a conspiracy!
Anyway, these next two sentences are where I get totally lost.

Is this a metaphor for Michigan and Appalachian State, or is it just a little joke you thought you'd throw in because you didn't know how to end this post?
