What memories it brought back yesterday as I sat in my living room watching the Big Red Machine roll over Neveda. I never thought I would see those days again. Those days when our offensive line would constantly beat on defenders, making them tired and defensless as our running backs would pound the rock for chunks of yards at a time. Well yesterday was that day again!
I loved how Lucky has improved his vision and showing patience as he waited for the OL to open up the holes. Once he got past the OL he would wait for the oustanding blocking by the WR's to take effect.
Then steps in the true freshman RB from Texas. Quinten Castille is a BEAST of a kid! The way his down hill style of running went, you could tell that he was always looking to put a hat on someone. Hard to believe that this kid is only 18! His future looks very bright with the Huskers!
Anyways, I was just glad to see how dominate our running game was. I missed it in the past and was happy to see it's return!

Report Offensive CommentI never said it was. Hell Texas didn't impress it at all against Arkie State and Missery has a shoddy Defense at best as well!

Report Offensive CommentBottom line is we step it a class with WF this weekend. Assuming we win it will set up a heck of showdown with USC the next week. I suspect you're going to see a lot of VERY surprised people at how well the Huskers match up with the Spoiled Children.... I see a HUGE trap for USC coming into Lincoln in 2 weeks.....
