Chiefs QB controversy not over
Damon Huard, the quintessential journeyman quarterback, finally has a team to call his own. For how long is another matter, but for the regular-season opener against the Texans, Huard will be the Chiefs' starting quarterback. Coach Herm Edwards seemed to be leaning toward starting Brodie Croyle. But Edwards apparently changed his mind after Croyle's disappointing play in Thursday night's preseason loss to New Orleans.
