Ok not a recap so much as a few observations:
1) WTF? Taylor Bennett!? It's called a forward pass. Practice it,****! What happened to that guy that lit up WVU for 7 billion yards? Only half of them was to the guy with C. Johnson on his jersey
2) I love GT's defense year in and year out. They got fooled on a few passes there at the end and gave up the shutout though - could have been that they hadn't seen any passes the whole game, could have been that they were ready to go home, could have been the pass defense is shakey this year. I hope it's #1 or #2. Also - when John Tenutu finally gets taken from us (a la Ralph Fridge to Maryland) we're in trouble.
3) Overall I was proud-ish of the ACC's showing on Saturday. Wake and BC had a pretty good game. VT didn't get Michiganed on national TV, so that was a plus...
4) Georgia won. OSU, I hate thee forever. Well I guess I can't be too hard on them. Chan Gaily hasn't beaten them since he came to town. Makes me miss George O'REALLY a bit.
5) NBC - I hate your stupid contract you have with ND to carry their games. They aren't that good. Your annoucers are too biased. I like announcers to be analytic and provide insight that might not be immediately obvious to a television audience. NESN's Don O and Jerry Remy do a good job of walking that "supporting your team while being objective" line.
I LOVED kicking Notre Dame's collective pompous ****. I've yet to meet one person that attended or supported Notre Dame that I could stand to be in the same room with.
And as a GT fan I thought I would never say this - but in light of the game coming up on Monday - Go FSU!
