Offense: D+ Mike Hart put up a great fight with 188 yards, but the offense did not live up to expectations. Henne was awful mainly overthrowing wideouts, and Mannigham only caught 3 passes.

Defense: D- The defense couldnt stop Appalachian State in the first half, where they gave up 28 points. There was some ajustment but blew it at the end. Shawn Crable led the team with 10 tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss.

Special Teams: F Michigan gave up 2 blocked field goals, both at key times. They had bad snaps on the pat's and returner Johnny Sears fumbled the kickoff although it was overruled.

Coaching: F- Michigan didn't prepare their players at all. On offense, defense, and special teams. They were beat at every position.

Overall: F  They lost to a F***** I-AA team what could be worse?
