Well the tournament is all done and they did real good.Team U.S.A. played very good together as a team.No ego's and no It's all about me. We all knew that is what they had to do to win and they came together and did it. Talk about making teams look bad, wow! Of course I'm a laker fan so I'm going to point out what KOBE did and his lockdown defense not to mention his offensewhen we needed it. I saw some real nice loft passes too from kobe that were amazing. He did have a few turnovers but anyone that is a true fan of KOBE knows he will do that from time to time.We all live with him forcing the issue sometimes because of what he can do.He played great! Jason Kidd I cannot say enough about except I want to shoot myself thinking we could of had him.(Mitch,Mitch,Mitch?) He makes the game flow sooo smooth and he does make everyone around him better.I don't care how old he is,he is amazing.Things would have looked quite different without him. Le-Bron was Le-bron but kind of like Kobe's situation he does play much better when he doesn't have to do it all.He stepped it up in a huge way.Great job King James! The one that really stood out to me this tournament was a guy I have to admit I have not been a huge fan of before this. Carmelo! I was very impressed with his play.I have seen him play a bit with Den. but I've never seen that. He was a scoring machine.Hitting from everywhere. Another great job! D.Howard and Amare were really good too. Let's face it the whole d-mb team looked good. Also congrats to the coaching staff too.Not that they had the hardest job.But you have to give them some credit. Now that this is over we can look to the olympics. Remember this it will be a hole different ballgame. These teams know how to play defense and they have been playing together for years. Alot of them are real good shooters too. It will be alot harder than this little tour.Now that it has been said Of course I can't see anyone being able to beat the states.We are just too stacked this time and so far I don't see huge weaknesses.If you lockdown on us we will hit our three's,move out and the big men will tear you apart.Anyone on this team can light it up in any game. This team is scary! The only thing I can see that can beat us is massive injuries or ourselves. Good Luck to you TEAM U.S.A. and Thanks for the memories!

Who the hell cares about this tournament. I have no idea why everyone is covering this like its the actual Olympics. A lot of key foreign players sat out, so it's not as if all the other countries were competing to the best of their abilities. I'm not convinced till I see them play in Bejing next year.

I watched all the games l could and l was blown away by how they demolished all the teams. l expect them to win the gold in Beijing but not win by that big of a margin because the competition will be better, much better. Gold will be ours. Period.
