Every week I expect to put out a NCAAF Top 10 after all of that weeks games are over. I should do this Monday night or Tuesday. I will show what teams improved and what teams lost ground, also. At the end of putting the team and there record on there I will say a little something about what player stood out and all that too. Oh, yeah, whoever thinks that I am MCCOY4HEISMAN. You are wrong. I am just an average 14 year old like most everyone else on here. Also, for those of you (there is basically just 1 person) who thinks that I copy my blogs... try to find this one and all of my others. I made one that was semi-copied but I gave credit to the guy who made it and I said that he WAS the one that wrote it, not me. I deleted that blog so that one guy that is stalking me on here would calm down.

It is week 1 and teams are playing not-so-good teams so not a whole lot changed, but some did.

1 USC (1-0)

USC has grabbed headlines because of its stable of talented running backs. Johnson stood out, rushing 12 times for 63 yards and two TDs.

2 LSU (1-0)

Defense was OUTSTANDING. They won because of it. The offense wasnt that great but 6 INTS! is one helluva good D performence.

3 West Virginia (1-0)

Slaton had a great game (108 yards, 4 TDs), but White showed critics he has an arm, throwing for 192 yards and two TDs and rushing for two more.

+ 4 Florida (1-0)

The sophomore QB Tim Tebow looks at ease in Urban Meyer's system, throwing for 299 yards and three TDs and rushing for another. The real test comes in two weeks against Tennessee.

- 5 Texas (1-0)

The junior running back Charles kept Arkansas State's D honest and took the heat off McCoy, rushing for 117 yards and a TD.

+ 6 Oklahoma (1-0)

It was quite a debut for the redshirt freshman Murray, who announced he had arrived with a five-touchdown effort.

7 Wisconsin (1-0)

The senior QB Donovan filled John Stocco's shoes: 284 yards and three TDs in the air, plus another on the ground.

+ 8 Louisville (1-0)

The Cards QB Brohm went 16-of-21 for 375 yards and 4 TDs. So he's one-quarter of the way to last year's TD total (16) after one game.

+ 9 Ohio State (1-0)

Todd Boeckman, did a bang-up job in his first start in the post-Troy Smith era. He completed 17 of 23 passes for 225 yards and two TDs.

+ 10 California (1-0)

Cal's electric receiver/returner Jackson touched the ball just six times, but made the most of those touches, including a 77-yard punt return.

-------

Other notable teams that did good this Saturday and probably moved themselves up the rankings are:

Rutgers

Penn State

Nebraska

Arkansas

Hawaii

Boise State

Teams that made it worse for themselves are:

Michigan (of course)

Virginia Tech (won but not by much)

Tennessee (lost, but to a good team)

-------

So basically, Michigan screwed everyone over. If I went to 15, Michigan would have been in there. Im not sure where but they would have been there.

I am already counting down till next week and we will then see where all of these teams are.

Interesting. I would of had Cal a bit higher. They looked impressive in their game against Tennesee

September 3, 2007  11:38 PM ET

I moved them 2 spots...

Hey Expert, I understand your a Goergia homer, but moving them into the top 10 when the other teams in there deserve to be there just doesn't make sense. Take a chill pill, you'll get your chance.

Its pretty good, I just don't get why Michigan dropped out of the top ten

September 4, 2007  12:57 AM ET

michigan should be out of the top 25 with that loss
no excuse for it, they dont deserve to be ranked

September 4, 2007  07:40 AM ET

Michigan is probibly out of the top 25

September 4, 2007  08:17 AM ET

I dont get why that guy thought that Georgia should be in, they won but by 15 points were the teams that moved up were teams that whopped up and looked good doing it. Michigan is about 13 or 14 on my list, I think that that loss was a fluke. I dropped them prettyy far but I wouldnt take them out of the 25.

September 4, 2007  08:55 AM ET

Fluke losses count too

September 4, 2007  09:58 AM ET

i would keep VT because i believe it was only close because it was such a big game for them. verrry emotional. USC can beat the okland raiders

RedskinH8r, I have NEVER plagerized a blog. I copied one once but I said in the blog that I DID NOT WRITE IT and I told who the real guy was who wrote it. I contacted the site about it and they said that they are perfectly fine about it as long as I gave them credit. Which I did.

September 4, 2007  04:44 PM ET

USC USC. i love miami though

September 4, 2007  05:07 PM ET

App. State should be in the top 10! :D

But seriously, PSU is going to be amazing this year.

September 4, 2007  07:06 PM ET

Yeah I think so too. There D is really good and Joe Paterno is a phenominal coach as everyone knows. If they win and look good doing so next week against ND.... they may crack the 10.
