This is the point spread for each game in week 1 for the Fan Group "The House."  If you would like to join the group and place a bet with imaginary money, feel free to do so.

Here's the spread (positive numbers mean home team is favored, negatives mean away team is favored):

New Orleans at Indianapolis: +1.5

Miami at Washington: +2.5

Carolina at St. Louis: +1

New England at NY Jets: -4.5

Atlanta at Minnesota: +0.5

Tennessee at Jacksonville: +2.5

Kansas City at Houston: +1.5

Philadelphia at Green Bay: -6.5

Pittsburgh at Cleveland: -8.5

Denver at Buffalo: -5

Tampa Bay at Seattle: +6

Chicago at San Diego: +3.5

Detroit at Oakland: -2

NY Giants at Dallas: +5.5

Baltimore at Cincinnati: -.5

Arizona at San Francisco: +4.5

Once again, this is how you will bet:  Respond in the comments section as to which teams you want to place money on.  You are betting whether or not the team will beat the spread; therefore a bet on Tampa Bay will still win if they lose by five.  You have $1000 at your disposal; you can bet it all on one team, spread it out evenly, spread it out unevenly, or only bet some of it, saving some for next week's less-even matchups. 

And here's a new idea: say you lose all your money one week but want to keep betting.  Well, meet the Loan Shark, who I just invented.  If you are out of money, you can borrow another $1000 from the Loan Shark, but you owe him $100 interest every week until you have paid him back in full.  If you have two loans out, you owe him $200 every week, and so on.
